I am dually licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA). I am also certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) an international certifying organization for professional counselors in the United States, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. I remain an active member with the Licensed Clinical Counselors of North Carolina (LCCNC) an organization that governs the clinical mental health counseling profession in North Carolina.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from South University in Columbia, SC, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from National University in IL. Through ongoing education, I have earned multiple counseling certifications to deepen my expertise in the field. I hold a Level 3 certification in the Positive Parenting Program through Mecklenburg County and have also completed additional studies in change management and transformational change at Queens University in Charlotte, NC.
I am an active member of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), an international certifying organization for professional counselors based in Greensboro, North Carolina. NBCC establishes and monitors a national certification system for professional counselors, identifies certified professionals, and maintains a registry of them.
In 2015, I founded Art of Care Counseling, driven by my passion for mental health and personal growth. My therapeutic approach is strengths-based, helping individuals recognize their potential for change. I specialize in working with clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. Beyond my practice, I actively volunteer with organizations such as Goodwill and Mental Health of America in the Central Carolinas, striving to empower individuals and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. My goal is to help people embrace positive change and develop a deeper sense of self-acceptance through thoughtful, collaborative treatment.

Art of Care Counseling is in the fight to help cure the stigma of mental health and therapy. All people deserve the best life, and I want to stand beside you to support you through your journey of healing and happiness. Please reach out to me, I appreciate it can be difficult to take the first initial step into therapy; I honor that. Art of Care Counseling already has nothing but the utmost respect for you.
